Dress Code

Our dress code aims to maintain an upscale, elegant ambiance, and members are responsible for helping their guests understand and adhere to the BEC dress code.

Gentlemen are required to wear dress shirts with their sport coat and dress pants or full suit year-round. A dress shirt is one that can be worn with a tie; polo-style and casual shirts are not permitted.  Ties are required from October 1 through April 30th and are optional from May 1st to September 30th.

For ladies, attire should be dressy and professional, such as cocktail dresses, dressy outfits, or dressy tops paired with skirts or pants. Jeans, yoga pants, and shorts are not permitted at any time.

Cell Phone Policy

Cell phones must be on the silent setting when brought into the Clubhouse.  Verbal conversations on cell phones are prohibited in the Clubhouse and on the covered deck.  Anyone who needs to make or receive a call may have the call outside the front entrance to the Club or should otherwise first consult with the Club Manager.

Tipping Policy

No tipping is allowed at the Big Eddy Club.  This policy dates back to the days of our founders, who did not want members to be treated differently based on how much they tipped.
